
Dieting often leads to feelings of deprivation and restriction – feelings which awaken that rebellious inner 16 year-old in your mind and can quickly sabotage any progress you were thinking of making.
But you want to eat in a healthier way. So how do you do it without falling into the pitfalls of a dieting mentality?
When I caught up with non-diet dietitian “The Nude Nutritionist” Lyndi Cohen she shared her number one tip:
“Adding, not subtracting”.
This simple strategy seriously helped me improve my eating at night. I added some olive oil into my salads, which meant I didn’t feel like snacking after dinner. This meant I stopped nighttime snacking without even thinking about having to subtract it from my eating habits.
